The popular Explorify resource managed by STEM Learning and the Primary Science Teaching Trust (PSTT) was originally based on TDTScience research and makes use of TDTScience strategies such as Odd One Out.
A module that explains one of the key TDTScience strategies to facilitate discussion with children, the Bright Ideas Time, can be found here on the PSTT website.
Science Oxford can deliver an online version of their TDTScience Taster 1 CPD session focussed on discussion techniques to encourage children’s thinking skills and TDTScience-based activity resources can be accessed here.
Members of the Association for Science Education (ASE) can access a Primary Science article about the TDTScience approach here. A chapter on ‘Thinking through science’, based on the TDTScience approach, can also be found in the ASE Guide to Primary Science Education.
